MLS: Vanilla Sky

That was already the second time that I did a linework that absolutely pleased me, but after coloring got something that wasn't really in my plan. I guess, either sleeping 4 hours a day isn't enough for me indeed, or I just start to want too much from myself as I try to not be worse than other participants of the challenge (who are incredibly talented, I tell you! I'm actually really amazed with the amount of skilled artists taking part this year!)
Anyway, it's Valentine's Day soon (which I'm not going to celebrate, of course), and isn't this a good reason to draw some luv stuff?

I think it is, and so I'm throwing at you a spoiler! :'D I'm sorry, I just got charmed with these guys' relationship development while working on their bios, and so I madly wanted to draw them once again.

Athelstan and Alexandria live and breathe for the same things, both being too abstract from reality and people around. Being similar in this way, they're still very different as persons: he's an intelligent noble guy, in everyday life very compliant and easygoing, while she is a battle-ax from a family of the working class, with a nasty character and rather sharp tongue. However, Alex and Athel complement each other harmoniously. Together they are a good team, something like a perfectly working mechanism. After seeing them together it's difficult to imagine them being separate.
In general, their brotherly relationship is likely to develop into passionate love during the plot.
